Dentistry Comes to Storybook!

Kinley Jo, Cooper, Fiona, Evelyn, Rivers, Flora, and Sloane are getting a closer look at the supplies used in dentistry.

Before our Christmas break, we hosted a local dentistry program that taught the children about the importance of oral hygiene, particularly brushing teeth. The representatives read an engaging book emphasizing the need to brush twice daily for healthy teeth and gums. They also provided dental supplies like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss, allowing the children to see and understand these items' uses.

Additionally, many children practiced their brushing techniques on stuffed animals provided by the program. This interactive experience was exciting and helped reinforce proper brushing skills, boosting the children's confidence in managing their dental hygiene. Overall, the visit was enriching, leaving a lasting impression and equipping the children with valuable knowledge.
