My name is Maren Griswold, and with me is my daughter Carys and son Wyatt. Originally from Minnesota, I moved to Bozeman in 1995 to go to college, and graduated from Montana State University in 2000.
I have had over 20 years of experience caring for children and being a caregiver for the disabled. Along with Storybook, I also have a woodcarving and metalworking business TWISTED ROOT DESIGN that keeps me busy.
Storybook is my labor of love, and I am always looking for ways to improve on it for your children to get the best possible experience. I love being able to spend time with all the children here at Story Book, and this also gave me the chance to be with my own children as they grew up!
My name is Alecia Panagakis I am 19-year-old and a student at Montana State University. I grew up in a small town called Pony, MT. I went to Harrison High School and graduated in a class of 10 people. Now, I am studying International Relations with a minor in International Business at MSU as well as participating on the women’s rugby team. I have always loved being around kids, and this is because I grew up with my three little half siblings. I was eight or nine when my little brother was born and then my two little sisters came a few years later. Throughout high school I lived with these three children and watched them grow up. I loved going home from school and seeing and playing with them. I would have to say that one of my favorite childhood memories is playing sports with my family. I babysat a little in high school, but I have always wanted to work with kids. A goal of mine is to work abroad helping people and children in developing nations.
A little about me:
I’m from the Northwest between Montana and Washington. I enjoy traveling and the outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends. In the future we have plans to visit Alaska.
My background with children:
I came from a family of eight children, so I have spent a lot of time with children. I don’t have any children of my own, but love spending time and spoiling other people’s children.
My favorite childhood memory:
My family and I went to Lagoon in Salt Lake City. We spent a week there, and we had such a fun time. We went on rides and camped out all week.
Tiffany here. I grew up on the East coast and moved to Montana in 2012. I graduated from MSU in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Teaching: K-8. While getting my undergrad degree, I worked at Storybook part time. After I graduated, I moved to Taiwan to teach English as a second language. I taught first and second grade there for two years and loved (almost) every second of it. However, Bozeman was calling me back…so, I decided to go back to school to get my masters in curriculum and instruction. Currently, I am going to school part time, teaching classes as a graduate assistant, and work at the daycare off-and-on. My whole life I have been passionate about positively impacting those around me, especially children. When I am not teaching you can find me making crafts (my business: Wild by Design), hitting the slopes, cooking food, or hanging with awesome people! "Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden." I love giggling, dancing, playing, and hanging out with your little one(s).
Rachel grew up down the street in Belgrade, and after high school went to the Healthworks Institute in Bozeman, to receive her Esthetics License.
Rachel worked as a childcare provider at a fitness center in Belgrade, and has had years of watching children. She has also helped out in almost every avenue at her family run business Mountain Lodge View and Suites where she has worked as management, running the front desk, hiring, ordering etc.
She came to Storybook because of her love for children, and will be working here, Mountain View Lodge as well as running her own business Rain Skin Care.
